Parallax is a GenLayer Intelligent Contract. Players capture a physical object with a live challenge code. Validators look at the web and the pixels. Rewards move only after consensus and a challenge window.
Why GenLayer
A standard oracle cannot look at a photo, search the public web, and agree with other validators on a fuzzy visual fact. This contract does — one block per dispute stage.
90-second live code
Each attempt issues an on-chain code bound to the caller. It must be readable in the photograph. Gallery uploads fail OCR, overlay, and reverse-search gates.
Independent witnesses
Up to three staked accounts shoot the same scene from another angle inside a 90-second window. False corroboration is slashed.
Validator web + vision
One block per dispute stage. Each consensus-producing function holds exactly one non-deterministic block (web + vision): leader and validators fetch the image, reverse-search it, geocode the claim, and OCR the code. They agree by equivalence, not a copied score.
Pause-only admin
The owner can freeze new submissions. They cannot set a winner, move escrow, or skip consensus. Challenge and escalation stay on-chain.
